Schloss Herberstein

Schloss Herberstein, also known as Gartenschloss Herberstein, is a castle in St. Johann bei Herberstein, Austria, with more than 700 years of history. Positioned above the Feistritz River and beside the Feistritzklamm nature reserve, it combines historic architecture with a landscaped setting. The site includes gardens, a historic chapel, an arcaded courtyard, grand halls and a modern art museum. Its architecture traces a development from medieval fortress to Renaissance palace, with indoor and outdoor areas and views across the surrounding landscape.

The castle accommodates up to 170 guests for weddings, corporate events, private parties, conferences, retreats, photoshoots, exhibitions and receptions. The chapel provides a setting for wedding ceremonies, while the gardens, courtyard and halls offer varied spaces for gatherings and photography.
