Rothestein KG

Rothestein KG is a neo-Gothic castle in Bad Sooden-Allendorf, Germany. Constructed in 1891 by Adolph Freiherr von und zu Gilsa, it contains three ballrooms, an 8-metre-high entrance hall, a turret with views across the surrounding landscape, and a preserved historical kitchen. The grounds include more than 3,000 square metres of parkland, garden and outdoor space, with a terrace overlooking the Werratal valley and Hoher Meißner.

The castle hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, conferences, retreats, photoshoots, exhibitions, workshops and receptions for up to 300 guests. It is also an official registry office for civil weddings for up to 100 guests. Parking, indoor space and catering are available, with catering arrangements including terrace barbecues and five-course dinners in a ballroom. Film and photo productions can use dedicated areas for makeup, wardrobe and crew.
