Overview

The James Ward Mansion is a historic house in Westfield, New Jersey. Its interior combines 24-foot ceilings with gold-gilded ornament, spiral staircases, decorative fireplaces and French-inspired design. The principal spaces include an atrium lit from above, with a fountain, grand piano and cocktail area; the Grand Salon, with wide views over downtown; and the Cocktail Lounge, with a bar. The Bridal Suite and Groom's Suite provide preparation and lounge spaces. A white chapel contains stained-glass windows salvaged from a historic church, while a garden and parking are also available.

The mansion accommodates weddings, receptions, corporate events, private parties and photoshoots, along with bridal and baby showers, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and milestone birthdays. Capacity is up to 150 guests. Catering is arranged through partner caterers, and planning support is available. The venue states that it limits bookings to one event per day and reserves the mansion exclusively for that event.
