Ansitz Wartenfels

Ansitz Wartenfels is a historic manor in Thalgau, Austria, positioned on a mountain between Mondsee and Fuschlsee, around 20 minutes from Salzburg. Its 10,000-square-metre grounds include terraces, a garden, a park, a historic cellar, a spring-fed pond and a fire pit for barbecues. The setting provides views across the Salzkammergut region, with indoor and outdoor spaces available for events.

Two main halls open onto the terraces and garden and can be set with lounge furniture, high tables or round gala tables; additional breakout rooms serve workshops and smaller meetings. Catering can be arranged as menus or buffets, and a production kitchen is available to external caterers. Accommodation comprises seven guest rooms for 20 people, plus tipi tents and converted construction trailers for up to 40 guests, with hotels nearby. Ansitz Wartenfels hosts weddings, corporate events, conferences, private parties, retreats, workshops, receptions and photoshoots, for gatherings of up to 500 guests. Activities include GPS mountain tours, dragon boat racing, golf, sailing, bread baking and cheese making. The adjacent Forsthaus Wartenfels is a 100-year-old restaurant that can form part of a multi-day event.
