Overview
Château de Saint Bernard is a medieval castle in the village of Saint-Bernard, in France’s Ain department. Dating from the 13th century and listed as a historic monument since 1997, it combines indoor event rooms with gardens and outdoor grounds. The setting includes two hectares of themed gardens, a maze of apple and pear trees, the Roseraie, a flowering meadow and a park. The gardens bear the “Jardin remarquable” label awarded by the Ministry of Culture.
The venue has four event rooms. Salle du Seigneur seats up to 140 guests, while Salle des Gardes measures 110 m² and includes a stage and sound system. The Cour Noble and Roseraie provide outdoor settings for cocktails and civil ceremonies, and the castle includes a bridal apartment. Château de Saint Bernard hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, concerts, exhibitions, photoshoots and receptions. Facilities include catering, indoor and outdoor space, private parking and accommodation, with 80 rooms distributed between the château and village Kanopée.
