The Georgian house forms part of an estate with formal gardens, parkland, outdoor areas and views towards the Shannon Estuary. Its history is linked to the Knights of Glin, whose home it was for over 700 years.
Indoor spaces include five reception rooms: a grand entrance hall with a neo-classical plaster ceiling, a library containing a secret door and snooker table, a dining room seating up to 35, and a drawing room. The property has 15+ ensuite bedrooms, each with views of the Shannon Estuary or formal gardens, as well as parking, catering and accommodation. Glin Castle hosts weddings, private parties, retreats, photoshoots and receptions for up to 64 guests. The gardens include ancient oaks, a walled kitchen garden and winding walks, with indoor and outdoor space available for events and photography.
