Overview

Castillo De Santiago is a 15th-century castle in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain, with views towards the Atlantic Ocean, the city and the Guadalquivir estuary. Construction dates to 1468–1492, under the II Duke of Medina Sidonia. The building has served as a ducal fortress, military barracks and hospital, and underwent a private rehabilitation project from 2003 to 2015.

Indoor and outdoor settings include Patio de Armas, a 1,110 m² space for banquets of up to 500 guests or cocktails for up to 750, and Salón del Duque, which accommodates up to 160 banquet guests. Castillo De Santiago hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and receptions. The castle also houses Museo del Traje and Museo de las Armas, and offers audioguides, virtual reality experiences, guided and theatrical visits, and medieval combat shows.
