Overview
Domaine de Bois Roger is a 19th-century manor and estate in Cléville, within Normandy’s Pays d’Auge. Accommodation includes the Manoir, a four-star property with six bathrooms for up to 15 guests, together with the independent three-star houses L'Envol and La Gare, each accommodating up to 15 guests and equipped with a kitchen. A chapel, gardens, park and outdoor areas surround the property, with views across the countryside. Indoor space, Wi-Fi and parking are also available.
The domaine hosts weddings, receptions, private parties, corporate events, retreats and workshops, with spaces available for private hire. Its history reaches back to 1775, when Abbé Quesnel established a lace-making school for local parishioners. The manor was later a place where filmmaker Jacques Perrin conceived Winged Migration and raised storks and geese for the film.
