Overview

Wilton Castle is a historic castle venue in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Ireland, beside the Boro River. The building incorporates a fortified tower built in 1247 and was restored from ruin; its exterior includes chimney stacks, turreted towers and a lime-plastered facade. A drive through grassland leads to the castle, with parkland, wooded countryside and gardens extending towards the river.

Inside, accommodation is arranged in the Alcock, Furlong, Thornhill, and Butler suites, with a tower bathroom in the Butler suite. The banqueting area holds up to 85 guests and opens through French doors to the landscaped gardens. Wilton Castle has indoor and outdoor event space, parking and catering, and can host weddings, private parties, retreats and photoshoots. Its river and parkland setting provides views across the surrounding grounds.
