Borgo della Merluzza

Borgo della Merluzza is an estate in the Bosco di Baccano, in Roma, within the Città metropolitana di Roma Capitale, Italy. The property dates from the 1600s and was formerly a postal station on the Via Cassia, and is mentioned by Gioacchino Belli. Its event spaces are the Villa and the Casale Antico, set among a garden and park with indoor and outdoor areas, a swimming pool and views.

The Villa combines outdoor areas for aperitifs and cocktail parties with indoor rooms containing antique fireplaces and period furnishings, accommodating between 50 and 200 guests. Casale Antico is a 17th-century inn for groups of 10 to 70, with a courtyard, wood-fired oven and lawn overlooking the park and the 17th-century tower. Nine rooms—eight doubles and one junior suite—provide overnight accommodation. Catering is supported by a 300 sqm industrial kitchen, while parking is available for 200 cars. Borgo della Merluzza hosts weddings, corporate events, conferences, retreats, photoshoots, workshops, receptions and private parties.
