Overview

Castelletto is a historic castle in Corbetta, within the Città metropolitana di Milano, Italy. It is also known as Castrum Sancti Ambrosii and Castello di Sant'Ambrogio. Dating from the 9th century, the site has a written reference in a narrative by Wippone from 1037 and preserves part of an ancient Roman castrum. The complex includes original elements and restoration work by architect Piero Portaluppi, as well as a colonnade and door arch from the 16th-century monastery of the Stimmatini in Sezano, Verona.

The castle stands beside a garden and park with centuries-old trees. The grounds retain vestiges of the perimeter walls of the Roman Curia Picta and other artefacts, including the Angel. Facilities include indoor and outdoor spaces, parking, catering and views. Castelletto hosts weddings, private parties, receptions, corporate events and photoshoots.
