Overview
Castello di Decima is an 18th-century castle in Castel di Decima, within the Città metropolitana di Roma Capitale. It stands in the Decima Malafede Nature Reserve, around 20 minutes from Rome’s city centre and from Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The site began as a medieval fortification at the tenth mile of the ancient Via Laurentina and is now part of the RomaNatura park system.
Its interiors include halls with antique ceilings and period furniture, complemented by a garden, park, and other indoor and outdoor areas. Symbolic civil ceremonies may be held in the Cortile del Pozzo or Sala degli Specchi. The church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo adds another historic space, with a coffered ceiling bearing the Torrigiani coat of arms. Castello di Decima hosts weddings, receptions, corporate meetings and gala dinners, private parties, cultural and themed events, and film and photoshoots. Facilities and services include catering, a dedicated wedding manager, floral decoration, photography, music, parking, luxury car rental, and on-site apartments for overnight accommodation.
