Overview
Limonaia dello Stibbert is a 19th-century villa and museum complex on the slopes of Via Bolognese in Firenze, within the Città Metropolitana di Firenze. Formerly the home of Frederick Stibbert, it is associated with collections of arms, armor and art, and stands in an English-style park with ancient trees, a lake and neo-Egyptian temples. Designed by Giuseppe Poggi in 1859, the Limonaia provides an indoor event space with air conditioning, stucco decoration and views across the garden, while its terrace extends the venue outdoors.
The Salone delle Feste is suited to meetings, dinners and cocktails. The property combines garden, park, outdoor and indoor spaces with catering and views, and can accommodate up to 200 guests indoors. Internal catering is provided by Le Cirque Catering Firenze. Weddings, receptions, corporate events, private parties, exhibitions and workshops can be held at the venue, with the possibility of cultural tours through the museum’s 50,000-piece collection, including works by Botticelli and Brueghel.
