Overview

Earlshall Castle is a 16th-century castle in St Andrews, Scotland, within the Leuchars region. Originally a hunting lodge known as 'the Erlis Hall', it was owned by the ancient Earls of Fife. Mary Queen of Scots once stayed in a preserved bedroom. The castle is surrounded by 35 acres of gardens, with lawns, woodlands, parkland, parking and views across the grounds.

Indoor and outdoor event spaces include a marquee for up to 200 guests, fitted with panoramic windows, chandelier lighting, heating, a bar and a lounging area. Ceremonies can be held in the Walled Garden or the Topiary Garden, designed by architect Robert Lorimer. The grounds also accommodate lawn games, drinks receptions and photography, including the Linket of Hearts design. In-house catering ranges from BBQs and hog roasts to fine dining and midnight smores. Earlshall Castle hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, receptions and photoshoots, with corporate entertaining also taking place within the castle.
