Overview

Highcliffe Castle is a Grade I listed castle in Christchurch, Highcliffe, United Kingdom, set on the clifftops of the Dorset coastline. The site has views towards the sea and the Isle of Wight. Its State Rooms include the Wintergarden, with a baby grand piano; the Great Hall, with a 30-foot-high Jesse Window; and the State Dining Room, with exposed brickwork and full-length windows. The grounds include gardens and outdoor space, while indoor rooms, parking and catering support events. The Castle Pantry tea rooms serve local and homemade produce.

Highcliffe Castle hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, receptions, photoshoots and exhibitions, as well as events such as the South Coast Wine Festival, filming and funeral teas. Civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts can accommodate up to 110 guests, while evening receptions can accommodate up to 200. The castle was home to Claretian monks in the 1950s and is now owned and operated by BCP Council.
