Overview
Built in 1530, Myres Castle is a Scottish castle in Cupar, within the Kingdom of Fife, around 40 minutes from Edinburgh. Its 44 acres of grounds include the Vatican Garden, scented roses, a maze, a woodland trail, Highland cows and a small lochan. Outdoor settings include the area beneath a 200-year-old copper beech and the front lawn, while the apple store and Barnquee provide indoor event spaces. The Coach Room has disabled access.
The Barnquee can seat up to 160 guests for receptions, and the apple store can accommodate 120 for ceremonies. Myres Castle hosts weddings, private parties, retreats, photoshoots and receptions, with parking, catering, accommodation, garden and park areas, indoor and outdoor space, a lake and views. Overnight accommodation includes 10 en-suite bedrooms in the castle and Tartan Gate Lodge, which sleeps up to four guests and can be used as a bridal suite. Weddings take place from April to October, with local suppliers available for catering, floristry, photography and entertainment.
