Fonmon Castle is a historic castle in Rhoose, near Barry, South Wales. The building began as a defensive keep constructed by the St John family in 1180. Its interior includes Rococo decoration, a staircase and the open-plan Great Hall.
The castle stands among parkland, with gardens, woodland paths, indoor and outdoor space, parking and views across the surrounding countryside. The grounds feature Jurassic Wales, the Medieval Grange, the Welsh Folklore Story Trail and the Lost Victorian Garden, while the castle also has a tea room and wheelchair accessibility.
