Overview

Neidpath Castle is a historic castle above the River Tweed near Peebles, in the Scottish Borders. This 12th-century fortified tower house retains its stone walls, hidden staircases and vaulted cellars, with views from the battlements. Its history includes generations of the Frasers, Hays, and Douglases, as well as visits from Mary Queen of Scots and James VI.

The Laigh Hall and Great Hall provide indoor settings for celebrations, while the grounds allow outdoor ceremonies and offer scenery for photography. Accommodation includes suites within the castle and cottages in the grounds or on the Barns Estate.
