Overview

Severndroog Castle is a historic 18th-century folly in London, standing at the top of Shooters Hill. Built in 1784, it is a triangular castle with a viewing platform overlooking the surrounding countryside and the London skyline. Its history is linked to Suvarnadurg (Severndroog): the castle was commissioned by the widow of Commodore Sir William James to commemorate his naval victory there in 1755.

The venue combines indoor and outdoor space with a courtyard, tea room and parkland setting, while its elevated position provides stunning views. It hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties, receptions and photoshoots, providing a historic London setting for gatherings and photography.
