Wadhurst Castle

Wadhurst Castle is a 19th-century castellated mansion in Wadhurst, within a private 140-acre estate in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the borders of Kent and Sussex.

Inside, the Drawing Room, the Moncrieff Room and the Victorian Winter Garden form a connected group of reception spaces, with high ceilings, south-facing windows and views across the English countryside. The restored Carriage Barn accommodates up to 104 guests in banquet or theatre style. Outside, the South Lawn overlooks Phoenix Lake, while the Fountain Garden, rose arbors, azalea walks and Walled Garden provide garden settings; licensed areas in the Walled Garden are available for civil ceremonies. Wadhurst Castle hosts weddings, corporate events, private parties and photoshoots, as well as receptions, wedding breakfasts, functions, summer BBQs and team-building activities. Facilities include parking, catering, accommodation, and indoor and outdoor event space.
